Return of supporters to Elland Road

Return of supporters to Elland Road

Key information for fans ahead of first home fixture.

Leeds United are looking forward to having a full stadium once again this season with our first home game against Everton taking place at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon (KO 3pm).

The club have been working closely with the Premier League to ensure the safety of our supporters at all times, and so it is vital that we all work together to make matchdays as safe as possible during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

We have some key information for supporters to be aware of ahead of their visit at the weekend, with many returning for the first time in almost 18 months. Your matchday experience may be slightly different to before and so we are asking all fans to arrive early ahead of kick-off. Please also note that Elland Road will be moving towards a cashless stadium with many kiosks only accepting card payments, so please plan accordingly.

The club will be holding a minute’s applause ahead of the game to remember the former players and fans of both clubs who have passed away since we last had a full stadium at Elland Road, in March 2020. More information can be found here.

Our COVID19 Supporter Code of Conduct

Ahead of your visit to Elland Road, please ensure that you have read our Supporter Code of Conduct. By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to follow this Code of Conduct at all times. Please click here for more information.

This is designed to help create a safe and enjoyable environment and to protect you and your fellow supporters. Please be aware that government and local authority policy may change throughout the season, potentially at short notice. Supporters planning to attend should always follow the latest requirements and advice. In turn, this Code of Conduct may be updated at any time as the situation changes and should be read each time you plan to visit Elland Road.

We will not be conducting COVID certification checks but we encourage all fans to take a lateral flow test within 48 hours of the game and anyone who has tested positive, displays symptoms or is required to isolate should not attend the match. Please also be mindful that players and management are required to remain in their bubbles and are not able to stop for autographs and photographs before or after the game.

Getting to Elland Road

The Park and Ride service from Temple Green to the Stadium will be starting three hours ahead of kick-off (12pm) and returning post-match on a priority route from the ground. Priority bus transfers will also be available at a cost of £10 per car, you can book your ticket online now here.

The matchday shuttle bus service operated by First Leeds Buses will be in operation, numbered R2, departing from Sovereign Street, adjacent to Leeds station, to the stadium. The service departs 90 minutes before kick-off and runs at frequent intervals. At the end of the match, a frequent service will operate back to Leeds city centre. Prices are just £3.00 return for adults.

All of the car parks around the stadium will be open and managed by Leeds City Council –  £6 per car, mini coaches £12, coaches £20. Fans located in the South and East Stand are advised to park in Car Park B. Ticket holders in the West and North Stand are advised to park in the Lowfields Road Car Park and the Park and Ride Car Park (accessed via Bobby Collins Way).

There is also a new disabled car park located behind the North Stand – free for blue badge and pass holders (accessed via Bobby Collins Way).
