Take a look at the top 5 scoring Leeds players from last season and how much they'll cost in 2021/22
Ahead of 2021/22 Fantasy Premier League going live this summer, Leeds United and fellow Premier League clubs have been revealing the FPL prices of their players.
The first four players were announced on the club's social media accounts earlier, with Illan Meslier priced at £5m, Liam Cooper at £4.5m, Raphinha at £6.5m and Patrick Bamford available for £8m.
Which of the Leeds United squad will be making your Starting XI on the opening weekend? We take a look at our five highest scoring players from last season and how much they'll cost you at the start of the 2021/22 season.
Patrick Bamford (FWD)
20/21 Points: 194
21/22 Price: £8 million
Selected by 45.2% of teams at the end of last season, Patrick Bamford rewarded them with 17 goals, 8 assists and picked up the second most FPL points of any forward in the Premier League.
With a season of Premier League experience under his belt, FPL is expecting another high scoring season from the Leeds United forward, increasing his price from £6.6 million to £8 million.
Less of a bargain than last season, but still lower than the season ending prices of Jamie Vardy (10.2), Timo Werner (9.2), Firmino (9.1) and Martial (8.6), all of whom scored less points for their FPL managers.
Stuart Dallas (MID)
20/21 Points: 171
21/22 Price: £5.5 million
So good, they've had to make him a midfielder this season! Stuart Dallas was phenomenal for Leeds in our first season back, winning the three biggest prizes at our Player of the Year Awards.
He was also a great addition to any FPL manager's defensive line! Bought for £5.5 million, he went on to become the highest scoring defender in the Premier League after scoring 8 goals and contributing with 2 assists.
Despite playing 18 of his 38 appearances in defence, FPL has moved him to midfield after he was 10 points clear of Liverpool's Andy Robertson in second place, whilst Premier League POTY Ruben Dias could only rack up 142 points.
Illan Meslier (GKP)
20/21 Points: 154
21/22 Price: £5 million
The most underrated FPL signing in the 2020/21 season? Selected by only 8.5% of teams at the end of the campaign, Illan was available for £4.5 million from the start and went on to get 154 points.
Breaking the Premier League record for most clean sheets by a goalkeeper under 21, only two goalkeepers (Martinez and Ederson) had a higher points total, but both came with a higher price tag.
With a slight increase in price for 2021/22, at £5 million and with another full season of first team experience, Illan still represents a fantastic bargain.
20/21 Points: 133
21/22 Price: £6.5 million
30 games, 6 goals and 9 assists, Raphinha proved a great FPL purchase in his first season with Leeds United, leaving managers with one question; when are we going to start getting points for nutmegs?
Costing only £5.5 million, the attacking midfielder stepped up with 133 points and with only a slight increase for the upcoming season, must represent a steal when compared to those with similar outputs. Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang cost FPL managers £11.3 million but only returned 131 points.
Luke Ayling (DEF)
20/21 Points: 100
21/22 Price: £4.5 million
Along with Stuart Dallas and Gjanni Alioski, Luke Ayling was our third defender to rack up 100 FPL points last season.
A legend in the eyes of Leeds fans after his exploits in the Championship, Luke was only selected by 2.7% FPL managers, but only two defenders with a lower price tag gained more points.
Playing all but 20 minutes of our 38 Premier League games last season, Ayling was a consistent part of a defence that kept 11 clean sheets, and awarded 7 points in games against the likes of Sheffield United and Southampton.
