Leeds United receive positive feedback from fan survey

Survey results highlight success.

A Premier League fans survey conducted by The Athletic this week has found Leeds United fans unanimously in support of the club on a wide variety of areas.

The Athletic asked questions covering a range of topics to fans from all 20 clubs, from how well the club is being run to how the team has performed throughout the season, creating a points-based system out of 100 from the responses received.

The Whites have scored 45 goals in 29 Premier League games and have recorded 12 wins do date, with supporters collectively agreeing that Leeds play entertaining football – with Marcelo Bielsa’s side topping the poll in that category.

Fans also voted unanimously in favour of the way the club is being run, with only 2016 Premier League champions Leicester City finishing above the Whites in the whole of the top-flight.

The results went on to conclude that supporters are delighted with head coach Marcelo Bielsa in charge and would like to see him continue at the helm next season.

Leeds United saw a big recruitment drive last summer with the arrival of star players such as Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Raphinha and Rodrigo, resulting in Leeds coming in fourth position when supporters were asked whether they thought the club had spent well on transfers over the past 12 months.

Leeds United chief executive Angus Kinnear commented: “We are always pleased to see positive feedback from our supporters.

“As custodians of the club, we know our job is to try and constantly improve things and huge credit must go to Andrea for his vision and constant support.

“As we have said before, this is base camp for Leeds United and we know we have a lot more work to do.”

We would like to thank all supporters who took part in the survey for your important feedback.
