Defender picks up February gong.
Leeds United defender Gaetano Berardi has been named the Louis Erard Player of the Month for February.
The Swiss full-back picked up 44% of the supporters vote, beating off competition from Rob Green in second, Chris Wood in third and Stuart Dallas in fourth.
Berardi has been in great form for the Whites, since regaining his place in the side in December.
Despite his favoured position being right-back, Berardi has filled in at left-back for the majority of games he has been involved in and has put in some sterling performances at the back.
February began with a 2-1 away victory at Blackburn Rovers, before back to back defeats against Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City.
The Whites bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Bristol City and a 1-1 away draw at Ipswich Town, before running out 1-0 winners over Sheffield Wednesday, with Berardi assisting Wood's goal.
Upon winning the award, Berardi was presented with a luxury Louis Erard watch at Thorp Arch by our Official Timing Partner (pictured below).
Louis Erard also made a special visit to Thorp Arch to give Garry Monk a special belated birthday present.
United's head coach turned 38 on the 6th March and Monk was presented with number 38 of Leeds United's limited edition 100 piece Louis Erard watch.
Monk is pictured above receiving his birthday gift.
