Midfielder agrees pro terms.
Leeds United are pleased to confirm Joe Snowdon has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The midfielder has put pen to paper on a two-year-deal, running until the summer of 2023.
The 17-year-old featured regularly for the Under-18s last term, scoring five goals in 16 appearances.
Snowdon was delighted with the news and is now looking forward to making the step up to Under-23s football over the next two seasons.
“It’s something I’ve been working towards all my life and I’m so glad it has finally happened,” said Snowdon.
“It means everything, it’s hard to put into words, it really is surreal. I’m so happy for myself and my family.
“I’m a central midfielder, I like to get forward and defend, get on the ball and dictate the game.
“I put a lot of hard work in and like a few tackles and I’m really looking forward to making the step up.”
Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Joe on his professional contract.
