Leeds United trio named in England U19s squad

Young Lions to face Scotland in double header

Leeds United trio Charlie Cresswell, Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood have been named in the latest England U19s squad for their upcoming fixtures.

Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood have impressed since joining the club in the summer, whilst Charlie Cresswell made his senior debut against Hull City in last month's Carabao Cup tie.

The Young Lions will kick-off their new campaign with a double header against Scotland at St. George’s Park in October.

Under the charge of Ian Foster, England's U19s will face Scotland at the national football centre on Thursday 8 and Sunday 11 October.

The games could see the three players also come up against their fellow U23s teammate Stuart McKinstry, who has been named in Scotland's squad.

England U19s Squad:
