Leeds United are delighted to announce Charlie Cresswell and Stuart McKinstry have today signed their first professional contracts with the club.

Both players, aged 17, have agreed three-year deals running until the summer of 2022.

Defender Cresswell has progressed through the age groups at Thorp Arch, going on to captain the Under-18s side and has this season also played for the Under-23s.

McKinstry, who recently arrived at Leeds after catching the eye at Motherwell, has also made the step up to Under-23s football this year.

The duo will now be looking to follow in the footsteps of Kalvin Phillips and Jamie Shackleton, who have both gone on to progress to regular first team football.
