Harrison Male accepts professional contract

Goalkeeper agrees deal.

Leeds United are pleased to confirm Harrison Male has accepted a professional deal with the club.

The goalkeeper has agreed a one year contract which will commence on July 1st 2019, running until the end of the 2019/20 season.

The 18-year-old was included in many of the matchday squads for the Under-23s last season and made five appearances for Carlos Corberan’s side, along with two starts for the Under-18s.

He will now continue his development with the Under-23s, looking to get further game time next season.

Speaking about the deal, Male said: “I am very proud, I’ve been at the club for 10 years now.

“It is a happy moment for me and my family to get my first professional contract here and hopefully it is the first of many.

“The vibe is good in the club, the Under-23s have been doing really well along with the Under-18s and we’ve achieved a lot over the last couple of years.

“My aim now is to continue improving and to try and hopefully one day get onto the pitch at Elland Road and start a game for the first team.”
