Leeds United 0-3 Crystal Palace (Ladero 23, 34 Flanagan 27)
Eoghan Stokes went close inside six minutes, he did well driving forward, before firing low from range, but he couldn’t find the target.
The Whites then went close from a well worked corner, Hugo Diaz was picked out in space with a low cross, but he could only fire over the bar.
Freddie Ladero had Palace’s first effort of the game in the 12th minute, he was picked out at a corner, forcing Bailey Peacock-Farrell into action.
Crystal Palace took the lead from a free-kick, Ladero again caused problems at the free-kick, before the ball fell to Kian Flanagan who smashed home.
The visitors doubled their lead in the 27th minute, he latched on to a long through ball, breaking into the area and slotting the ball past Peacock-Farrell.
Leeds almost hit back two minutes later, Jack McKay did well to keep the ball in play before crossing and finding Jamie Shackleton, whose volley was denied by a super save from Dion Curtis Henry.
However the Eagles were soon further in front, Lemi Lumeka did well down the right flank before pulling it back for Ladero to slot home his second of the evening.
Madger Gomes nearly pulled one back for Leeds before the break, he weaved his way into the area, before firing just off target.

After the break some good build up play from Leeds led to Stokes having a chance at the back post, but his effort from a narrow angle was well blocked.
Ladero nearly added his hat-trick for Palace just before the hour mark, he went through one-on-one with Peacock-Farrell after being played in by Flanagan on the counter attack, but the United stopper made a fine save to prevent him.
Leeds again went close from another well-worked corner, but Jack McKay couldn’t direct his header on target.
Crystal Palace almost added a fourth in the 78th minute, Flanagan tried to tee up Lokilo, but his effort was well blocked.
United substitute Ousama Siddiki almost pulled a goal back for Leeds, he showed great footwork in the Palace area, before unleashing a shot, which was only denied by the post.
Fellow substitute Kum Temenuzkov then went close with an effort from the right edge of the box, but his effort went just wide.
In the final minute, from another corner, Jack McKay’s strike again hit the post, on a night of frustration for the Whites.
