You support us. Let us support you. United in Support.

United in Support is here to help reduce stigma, raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention, and make it easier for supporters to find the help they need.

  • Every 90 minutes, someone in the UK takes their own life.

  • One in four of us will have suicidal thoughts.

  • Having the first conversation can make all the difference.

Andy's Man Club

ANDYSMANCLUB run peer-to-peer support groups for men aged 18+ going through storms in their lives, every Monday at 7pm excluding bank holidays. Clubs are free to attend with no registration or referral required.

The group was founded after the death by suicide of Andy Roberts. His brother-in-law, Luke Ambler, and mother, Elaine Roberts, founded ANDYSMANCLUB in the hope that men who struggled to open up had a safe space to do so.

The first ANDYSMANCLUB session ran in Halifax in 2016, with 9 men in attendance. There was a magic in the room that night that all involved felt should be shared far and wide. The groups follow the same model they did on the first night and are available in hundreds of locations nationwide and online, stretching from Cornwall to the Scottish Highlands. No Guard Alone

The people keeping the fans safe deserve support too.

No Guard Alone is a charity dedicated to improving mental health, wellbeing and suicide prevention across the UK security industry. Created specifically for those working in security roles, we recognise the unique pressures that come with working in the sector.

Stewarding can be demanding. Every matchday, stewards are there for thousands of supporters. They welcome you in, keep you safe, support fans throughout the day and play an essential role in making matchday what it is.

But behind the uniform is a person, with their own pressures and challenges that aren't always visible.

Through our dedicated wellbeing app, stewards can access confidential support, practical mental health resources and guidance whenever they need it. Beyond this, we're working to challenge stigma, encourage open conversations and drive lasting change in how mental health is understood and supported across the industry.
