Known for his pace, attacking intent, and defensive tenacity, Jayden Bogle began his professional career with Derby County, progressing through the club’s youth system before breaking into the first team during the 2018/19 season.
His performances under then-manager Frank Lampard quickly earned him plaudits, as he made 40 league appearances in his debut campaign and played a key role in Derby’s run to the Championship play-off final.
Bogle continued to be a mainstay in Derby’s defence during the following season, further developing his reputation as one of the most promising young full-backs in the Championship.
In September 2020, he completed a move to Premier League side Sheffield United in a joint deal alongside teammate Max Lowe.
Bogle made his Premier League debut later that year and scored his first top-flight goal in a 2–1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in December 2020.
Despite the club’s relegation at the end of the 20/21 season, Bogle remained an important figure in the squad under manager Paul Heckingbottom.
During Sheffield United’s promotion-winning 22/23 Championship campaign, Bogle contributed both defensively and offensively, showcasing his ability to influence games from wing-back in a system that suited his attacking strengths.
After a season in the Premier League, Bogle joined Leeds United on 20th July 2024, signing a four-year contract. He debuted in the Championship on 10th August 2024 in a 3–3 draw against Portsmouth and scored his first goal for the club on 28th September 2024 in a 3–0 win over Coventry City.
In the 2024–25 season, Bogle delivered a career-high performance with 6 goals and 4 assists in 44 league appearances, contributing significantly to Leeds United's EFL Championship title win with 100 points and promotion to the Premier League.
His efforts earned him inclusion in the 24/25 EFL Championship Team of the Season alongside teammates Dan James and Ao Tanaka.
Internationally, Bogle represented England at the under-20 level, earning four caps after his debut in the 2019 Toulon Tournament.
