Leeds United face Leicester City on Friday night, travelling to the King Power Stadium for the 8pm kick-off and ahead of the match, Willy Gnonto has been chatting with LUTV.

The Whites face the Sky Bet Championship leaders in front of the Sky Sports cameras, with both teams looking to continue their recent fine form in the league.

Gnonto began by reflecting on the West Yorkshire derby win over Huddersfield Town last weekend.

He said: “It was a great game in front of the fans.

“At home, we just wanted to win the game and we started really aggressive. The boys were great and it was just a good win.

“We had a not so good game against Stoke and we wanted to react, and I think this was the best way to do it.”

Now onto Friday night’s trip against the Foxes, our Italian international is looking forward to facing Leicester and relishes the big games.

“I think we are buzzing, it’s a great game,” Gnonto stated.

“They’re in top form and at the top of the league. When you start to play football, you want to play these type of games.

“I feel like this is the best moment to do it because we are in top form and they are also good at the moment.

“We try to go into every game with the same way, we want to win, we know we have the quality and the players to do it, on the pitch and the bench as well.

“If we just go into the game the same way and with the same mentality, we can win.”
