Willy Gnonto set to represent Italy's U21s in November

Willy Gnonto is the latest Leeds United star to be called up for international duty, after Carmine Nunziata named the attacker in his Italy U21s squad.

The Azzurrini will host two friendlies next week, the first against France on Friday 15th November (3:15pm) at the Stadio Carlo Castellani, before welcoming Ukraine to the Stadio Alberto Picco on Tuesday 19th November (5:15pm).

Gnonto has been ever present for Leeds United this season, playing in every game so far, racking up two goals and five assists.

The 21 year old has represented Italy's senior side on 13 occasions, holding the distinction of being his country's youngest ever goalscorer, but has recently been turning out for the U21s, captaining the side and getting two assists in his last two games.
