The Leeds United Foundation are currently delivering a Walking Football session every Friday morning for the Leeds community to get involved in.

The weekly session is on offer for anyone to get involved in, giving participants the opportunity to take part in a slow-paced version of the game we all love, which is perfect for those who may not be able to do anything up-tempo, whether it’s due to your fitness levels, injuries or other health conditions.

There are a number of benefits for joining our Walking Football sessions, which includes:

-          Reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke

-          Improved blood pressure

-          Building strength and endurance

-          Reduce levels of stress

-          Increased fitness levels

-          Making new friends with likeminded people

It is just £5 per session to get involved, and anyone is welcome to come along and participate. The sessions are one hour long, and it is currently taking place every Friday morning from 11.30am at Fives at Seacroft.

If you would like any further information or would like to book on to attend a session, please contact [email protected].
