The Leeds United Foundation are now offering two Walking Football sessions a week for the Leeds community to get involved in.

The two weekly sessions offer participants the opportunity to take part in a slow-paced version of the game we all love, which is perfect for those who may not be able to do anything up-tempo, whether it’s due to your fitness levels, injuries or other health conditions.

There are a number of benefits for joining our Walking Football sessions, including:

-          Reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke

-          Improved blood pressure

-          Building strength and endurance

-          Reduce levels of stress

-          Increased fitness levels

-          Making new friends with likeminded people

It is just £5 per session to participate, and we welcome anyone to come along and get involved. The two sessions currently running are:

Monday, 7.30pm to 8.30pm at Leeds Grammar School (LS17 8GS)

Friday, 11.30am to 12.30pm at Limewood Approach (LS14 1NH)

If you would like any further information or want to register your interest in attending, please contact [email protected].
