The team news is in from a blustery Highbury Stadium as Leeds United Under-21s face Sky Bet League Two side Fleetwood Town in the Vertu Trophy.

Scott Gardner has made five changes to the team that drew with West Bromwich Albion U21s last time out in the Premier League 2.

Darryl Ombang deputises for goalkeeper Rory Mahady who is away on international duty, as well as starts for Reuben Lopata-White, Connor Douglas, Rhys Chadwick and Josh McDonald.

Louie Dudley and Will Firth continue at full-back with Lopata-White replacing Jonny Howson alongside skipper Alfie Cresswell in the heart of defence.

Douglas, Chadwick and Ollie Pickles form a midfield trio, supporting an attacking line of Harvey Vincent, Devon Brockie and Josh McDonald.

The bench sees a welcome return to action for attacking midfielder Sam Chambers, who is joined by U18s regulars Oliver Wood, Lewis Pirie, Jacob Render, Jacob Howard, Louie Philpott and Logan White.
