Andy Taylor’s Leeds United Under-23s side are facing off against Crystal Palace Under-23s on Monday evening (7pm), under the lights of Elland Road.
Ticket information for fans wishing to attend the game is further down the page. Supporters are not able to watch the match through LUTV due to broadcast restrictions.
The Whites return to action on home turf in Premier League 2 Division One following the international break and will be looking to secure what would be an important three points, in their battle to move up the table.
Palace arrive sitting in a higher position in the league, occupying 5th spot and having the possibility of still finishing higher. Paddy McCarthy’s side have been impressive up to now, winning 10 and drawing three, out of their 22 games.
On the road is where the Eagles have been at their strongest. They are top of the division on results away fro home, having won six and drawn one from 11 matches. One home turf, Leeds have won their last three in a row, including back to back 3-0 successes over both Liverpool and Manchester United at Elland Road.
Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is the top scorer for Monday’s visitors and he has been a player that the Whites have had to keep an eye on before. He has scored 14 this season for his side up to now. For Leeds, Sam Greenwood has netted eight and is top of the standings in a squad that has seen goals well spread out amongst them.
As the season edges ever nearer to its conclusion, a win for Leeds could see them move above 10th placed Everton on Monday night. For Palace, they are aiming to go above Manchester United into 4th place and three points for them would do exactly that.
