Leeds United Under-21s will be looking to bounce back from a defeat last time out as they face Liverpool Under-21s away from home.

Ahead of the Premier League 2 encounter, Scott Gardner has made four changes to the team that were beaten by RSC Anderlecht on European duties.

Those alterations see Sam Chambers and Rhys Chadwick return to action, alongside defensive switches as Coban Bird makes a first start following a spell on the sidelines through injury and experienced mentor Jonny Howson who also gets the nod.

Darryl Ombang retains the gloves, playing behind a back line of Freddie Lane, Louis Enahoro-Marcus, Howson and Bird.

A midfield trio is skippered by Chadwick, partnered by Ollie Pickles and U18s regular Loui Whitehead.

Chambers is deployed in an attacking role on the flank with Josh McDonald also supporting lone striker Marley Wilson.

On a youthful bench, goalkeeper Robbie Cook is joined by Jacob Howard, Carrick Njinko, Will Firth and Callum Mills.
