Leeds United Under-21s face Manchester United Under-21s in their penultimate home match of the Premier League 2 season this afternoon at Thorp Arch.
Ahead of kick off, boss Scott Gardner has made a number of changes to the side that faced Southampton before the international break, notably at both ends of the pitch.
In goal, the vastly experienced Alex Cairns starts, behind a back five of Freddie Lane, Jacob Howard, skipper Alfie Cresswell, Jayden Lienou and Louie Philpott.
In midfield, Ollie Pickles is joined by Rhys Chadwick – who has scored in successive matches for United, Charlie Crew and Harvey Vincent, supporting attacker Sam Chambers.
On a very youthful bench, U18s keeper George Kenyon deputises for Cairns, along with Sam Alker, Callum Mills, Carrick Njinko and Louie Dudley.
Action from Thorp Arch gets underway at 12:30pm.
Starting XI: Cairns (GK), Lane, Philpott, Lienou, Howard, Cresswell (C), Chambers, Crew, Vincent, Pickles, Chadwick.
