Tyler Roberts has completed a season-long loan move to Sky Bet Championship side, Queens Park Rangers.

The forward made 30 appearances throughout the 2021/22 campaign, where he played his part in the Whites securing Premier League football for the 2022/23 season. He also featured for his country Wales, helping towards their qualification for the 2022 World Cup.

Roberts has played over 100 times for Leeds United and contributed significantly to the side since his arrival in 2018. He was a key member of the squad that were crowned champions and earned promotion from the Championship in the 2019/20 season.

Off the pitch, the 23-year-old was named as Leeds United’s PFA Community Champion for the 2021/22 campaign, being recognised for his hard work and commitment within our local community for the second year running.

Roberts will now head to Loftus Road for the 2022/23 season, looking to gain further experience and help QPR to improve on last season’s 11th placed finish in the league.

Leeds United’s director of football, Victor Orta commented: “We all want to wish Tyler Roberts well at Queens Park Rangers for next season.

“He has been a big part of the squad here as a player and a person. We hope he can gain from a new experience out on loan and I think by playing lots of games he will only improve further, so we are looking forward to watching his progress.”

We wish Tyler the very best of luck during his time in West London.
