Across the weekend the Leeds United Foundation will host their first fundraising events of the year to help raise vital funds to support the work being carried out by the club's official charity every day.
The annual Golf Day will take place on Friday 12th May at Wetherby Golf Club, with the Foundation joined by a number of Leeds United Legends to help raise money for the wide range of community programmes that are being delivered for people and communities across Leeds.
On Sunday 14th May, a group of runners will then take on the challenge of running the Leeds Half Marathon. Over the past few weeks they have all been training really hard in the lead up and have all done a fantastic job of raising funds individually.
And finally, to complete our trio of fundraising events, some brave individuals will be jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet! The Leeds United Skydive will take place at the coastal resort of Bridlington, East Yorkshire, with fantastic views to be enjoyed over the coastline.
We are incredibly grateful for our amazing fundraisers who support the work at the Leeds United Foundation, it really does make a huge difference!
The club’s official charity aims to use the power of football to enhance the lives of people across our region through opportunities in sport, education, and healthier lifestyles, and every penny counts in being able to expand the work that is already being done!
