There’s nothing quite like the feeling when the ball hits the back of the net at Elland Road, and the goals have been flying in, with the Whites scoring 26 times in the league at LS11 this season so far.

We take a look back at some of the finest goals Marcelo Bielsa’s side have scored during the current campaign:

Kalvin Phillips vs Birmingham City

It was almost written in the stars that the local hero Phillips was to provide the goal that gave Leeds the victory on the club’s centenary game. Jack Harrison pounced on a misplaced Birmingham City pass and played an incisive pass through to Phillips who slotted home past Lee Camp.

Mateusz Klich vs Middlesbrough

A well worked corner gave the midfielder time and space to take aim, and the Polish international curled home beautifully past a helpless Middlesbrough goalkeeper Aynsley Pears. Undoubtedly a contender for Goal Of The Season, this 25 yard strike put the game beyond Boro as Leeds cruised home 4 – 0 to the good.

Helder Costa v Cardiff City

A blistering counter attack saw Leeds United score a wonderful goal. Starting at a Cardiff corner,  Leeds flooded forward on the counter attack and Pablo Hernandez's fabulous through ball sent Helder Costa in on goal and he slotted home superbly.

Stuart Dallas vs Preston North End

A thrilling Boxing Day fixture saw Leeds trailing as the clock ticked towards the 90 minute mark. With the Whites staring home defeat in the face, Stuart Dallas called for the ball to be squared back to him at the top of the 18-yard box.  Luke Ayling delivered and Dallas curled home to earn Leeds a crucial point.

Luke Ayling vs Huddersfield Town

The right-back opened the scoring in spectacular fashion in the recent West Yorkshire derby at Elland Road. Just three minutes into the game Jack Harrison floated a cross towards the back post where Luke Ayling volleyed home of the under side of the cross bar from just inside the 18-yard box. A spectacular goal with a celebration to match!

This season has been fantastic so far, and the 2020/21 campaign promises to be even better!
