Marcelo Bielsa has made two changes to the Leeds United starting line-up that will face Liverpool this evening.

Luke Ayling will take the armband with Liam Cooper unable to participate following our win over Manchester City. Taking his place in the centre of defence is Pascal Struijk who will be partnering Diego Llorente ahead of Illan Meslier in goal.

Gjanni Alioski completes the Leeds United back line with Jack Harrison, who is back in the team tonight, playing ahead of him on the left flank and Helder Costa on the right.

Taking up the central midfield positions this evening at Elland Road are Kalvin Phillips and Stuart Dallas. The Northern Ireland international became the first Premier League defender to score seven goals in a season since 2017/18 last weekend and he has also scored more goals from outside the box this season than any other player in the league.

Starting up front for the Whites is striker Patrick Bamford, supported by Wales international Tyler Roberts.

The Leeds United bench consists of keeper Kiko Casilla alongside Robin Koch, Gaetano Berardi, Leif Davis, Jamie Shackleton, Mateusz Klich, Ian Poveda and Pablo Hernandez - with Premier League 2 Champion Joe Gelhardt completing tonight’s squad.

Leeds United last faced Liverpool in what was their first game back in the Premier League at Anfield in September, pushing the current Champions all the way in a 4-3 thriller with goals from Jack Harrison, Mateusz Klich and Patrick Bamford.

The match tonight will be shown live on Sky Sports and kick-off is scheduled for 8pm, for those without access you can follow the live Leeds United blog online.
