The Leeds United Foundation are now taking bookings for taster session workshops as part of their Secondary Schools programme.
Coaching staff at the club’s official charity are offering free events to schools in the local community, giving pupils and teachers an insight into the broad spectrum of initiatives they can get involved in.
For those interested in booking in one of the workshops that include a number of taster sessions, please see below an example of what can be included and how the event could work:
Period 1: Physical workshop (includes coaching from FA ‘A’ licenced coach)
Period 2: Transunion workshop (handling finances and credit scores)
Period 3: Resilience workshop
Period 4: Leadership workshop
Period 5: Hospitality workshop (customer relations and handling customers)
The impact these workshops could have on students includes creating a greater skill set within young people over the academic year, giving them more confidence and self-esteem. They can also help to boost attendance within school and enhance the reputation of your school in the local community whilst also offering further support for those more vulnerable in your community.
