Leeds United Foundation are delighted to announce that following the success of the National Three Peaks expedition in 2021, they will be offering the opportunity for supporters to complete the challenge this year between 19th and 20th August 2022.
The National Three Peaks Challenge is renowned for being a tough feat of endurance and involves climbing the 3 highest peaks of Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) over the course of 24 hours. The total walking distance is 23miles (37km) with a total ascent of 3064 metres (10,052ft).
To join the 2022 expedition the registration fee will be £100 per person with a minimum fundraising target of £600.
The registration fee includes the following; Qualified Mountain Leaders, all outdoor safety kit / first aid and emergency equipment, a pre-event meetup, training WhatsApp group, a pre-event night trek and team build, kit list, medal and commemorative t-shirt as well as travel covered between each peak.
