With 2023's U21 European Championships fast approaching, France head coach Sylvain Ripoll revealed his 23-man squad on Wednesday afternoon, which includes Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
Ahead of the tournament, France will play a friendly against Mexico on Friday 16th June, before flying out to Romania.
The Tricolores will kick off their EURO 2023 campaign with a tough game against Italy on Thursday 22nd June in Cluj-Napoca. They will follow that up with group games against Norway (Sunday 25th June) and Switzerland (Wednesday 28th June).
Meslier made 38 appearances for Leeds United throughout the 2022/23 season, keeping five clean sheets. The French keeper also broke the Premier League record for youngest goalkeeper to reach 100 appearances in the top flight.
The 23 year old will be aiming to add to his 12 caps for France's U21s, his most recent coming in a 0-0 draw with Spain in March.
