Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas spoke to the media following Sunday’s draw with Arsenal at Elland Road.

The Whites dominated proceedings against the Gunners who were reduced to 10 men early in the second half.

However, Leeds couldn’t get all three points from the match, hitting the woodwork three times in the 0-0 draw and Dallas gave his reflection.

“I think we certainly created enough chances and did enough to win it,” said Dallas.

“The sending off definitely changed the game and we had a lot of possession in the second half and they were camped in, but if you can’t win the game, you have to make sure you don’t lose it.

“They were dangerous a few times on the counter-attack and that is something we have been working really hard on over the international break and since most of us came back through the week.

“They got a good shape and made it difficult for us to play through them, of course we did get chances, but you have to give them credit as well, losing a man is never easy and they dug in there, so I’m sure they will be happy with a point as well.

“In recent performances we’ve given away too many chances and one of the only chances they really had was the counter-attack in the second half and the goalkeeper has done really well.

“It’s always important you react and bounce back from a disappointing performance and I think we have done that.

“We’re happy with that and our all-around performance, there were plenty of positives and we’ll look forward now to next week.”
