In memory of former player Frank Worthington and to celebrate his incredible career and life a sponsored walk is being arranged with the Worthington family on Saturday 16th October 2021.

The fundraising event is being organised by Huddersfield Town Football Club, another club Frank played for during his nearly three decades of playing for both club and international football.

The 22-mile walk will start at Elland Road, with participants then making their way to FC Halifax Town’s The Shay, before finishing at the John Smith’s Stadium.

All participants that would like to take part are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100, with proceeds to be split equally between the Alzheimer’s Society and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The registration fee for the full 22-mile walk is £25, and £15 for a shorter 7.5-mile route that will start from The Shay.

Refreshments, coach travel to Elland Road (for the longer walk), an event t-shirt, First Aid support, and a support team are all included in the registration fee.

All participants that sign-up will be emailed an information pack with the timings, route, fundraising information, where to get the coach from and further information in due course.

1. Please complete the sign-up form in full and email it to [email protected], or hand it in at the Stadium Ticket Office. Download your sign-up form by CLICKING HERE.

The minimum age for participants is 14-years old. All 14 and 15-year-olds must have a parent or guardian to accompany them and have a parental consent form filled out in full. Please CLICK HERE to download yours and send by email to Andy Booth along with the sign-up form.

2. Please pay your registration fee via the Ticketing website by CLICKING HERE. You can pay for multiple people in one booking, please click 'Reassign' to assign a ticket to a supporter in your network.
