The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Sheffield United on Monday have been announced, with David Webb set to take charge at Bramall Lane.
The Durham-based referee marked his 500th appearance in the English Football League earlier this season at Elland Road, when the Whites dominated against Plymouth Argyle to win 3-0.
That fixture with the Pilgrims was the second Leeds match Webb has overseen this campaign, having also officiated the 3-0 success over Sheffield Wednesday on home soil in January.
That result took United’s record in games involving Webb to nine wins from 15, including four draws in that time.
Sheffield United, similarly, have a strong record in their 24 outings that Webb has taken charge of, winning 14. Most recently, the Blades edged past Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road at the start of the New Year.
