Leeds United are pleased to announce the signing of Sean McGurk.
The 18-year-old joins the club for an undisclosed fee from Sky Bet League One side Wigan Athletic.
He has agreed a three-year-deal with the Whites, with his contract running until the summer of 2024.
Attacking midfielder McGurk last season helped Wigan’s Under-18s become Professional Development League National champions.
He hit 13 goals in the process, ensuring the Latics secured back-to-back league titles, along with five strikes in three games in their FA Youth Cup run.
McGurk will now link up with Mark Jackson’s Under-23 side, who will play in Premier League 2 Division 1 in the upcoming campaign.
He becomes the club’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Amari Miller, Jack Harrison and Junior Firpo.
