Leeds United’s latest summer signing Sam Greenwood spoke to LUTV after completing his move to Elland Road.
Greenwood has joined the Whites from fellow Premier League side Arsenal for an undisclosed fee, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.
The 18-year-old spoke of his excitement at moving to West Yorkshire, with his aim to break into the first team squad.
“I’m absolutely buzzing and I can’t wait to get started,” said Greenwood.
“This is such a big club and an exciting time for the club as well, it has such a good pathway for young players to come through, an exciting manager and the fans are special.
“Arsenal is a great club and I met some great people along the way, but for me and my career I think it is the perfect time to come to Leeds and kick on now.
“I’m a striker, both footed, I like to make runs in behind and I like to run at defenders, find half a yard and get my shots off.
“I want to try and break through, make a name for myself in front of the Leeds fans and kick on.
“I can’t wait to work under Marcelo Bielsa, work hard and hopefully impress him.”
