Leeds United Under-23s striker Sam Greenwood has been named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for September.
Greenwood, who joined Leeds from fellow top-flight side Arsenal in August, made a fine start to his Whites career by netting four goals in his first three Premier League 2 appearances.
His first strike came in the 2-2 draw with Wolves at Thorp Arch, before he hit a superb hat-trick against former club Sunderland in a 3-1 win at the Academy of Light.
Speaking about the accolade, Greenwood said: "I'm delighted with the award, I think I've done well at the start of my Leeds journey and hopefully I can carry it on.
"It was good to get the hat-trick against my old club, the lads did really well, it was a great team performance and we need to keep pushing as a team, that is the most important thing.
"I'm loving my time here, I've settled in straight away, everyone here is so nice, it's a family club and I've been made to feel so welcome since day one."
Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Sam on his award.
