The match officials for Leeds United’s clash with Rotherham United on Friday have been confirmed with Oliver Langford set to be the man in the middle.
West Midlands based official Langford is now in his 14th season as an EFL referee, having made his debut back in August 2008 and is part of the Select Group 2 list of referees.
Langford has previously taken charge of 19 Leeds United fixtures, with his last coming in the Carabao Cup against Salford City back in August,
Leeds have won nine of the games Langford has took charge of, whilst he has issued 30 yellow cards and two red cards to Leeds players.
For Rotherham, Langford has been the man in the middle on 21 previous occasions, with the Millers winning five, drawing three times and losing 13. He has issued 35 yellow card and one red card to Rotherham players.
He last refereed the Millers in their 2-1 home defeat against Cardiff City, in the Sky Bet Championship in April 2023.
Langford has taken charge of 12 games in all competitions this season in all competitions, last refereeing Middlesbrough’s victory over Leicester City, ahead of the international break.
