Academy goalkeeper Rory Mahady has been named in Scotland’s U21 squad for their upcoming European Championship qualifiers.
The 19-year-old, who signed a new three-year deal with Leeds in July, will join Scot Gemmill’s side for matches against Czechia (Friday 5 September) and Portugal (Tuesday 9 September).
Mahady made 17 appearances in Premier League 2 last season and helped Leeds’ U21s lift the National League Cup. He has previously represented Scotland at U19 level, winning eight caps, and received his first U21 call-up in March.
