Leeds United forward Rodrigo spoke exclusively to LUTV following Tuesday’s victory over West Bromwich Albion.
The Whites produced a scintillating display at The Hawthorns, recording the biggest win of the season as the Baggies were defeated 5-0.
Rodrigo who scored Leeds’ fourth of the night was pleased with the performance and hopes the sides good form can continue, having won three of the last four games in the Premier League.
“We faced the game as we needed to do, we came from a tough game against Burnley and I think we deserved the win,” said Rodrigo.
“It was very different to the Burnley game, against them we did a very good first half and in the second half they were better than us.
“Here, we dominated the game from the beginning to the end and as I said, I think we deserved to win.
“We created great chances, it’s true when you score at the beginning of the game that the opponent needs to take more risks and give more spaces in the defence to us and we took advantage of it.
“We didn’t stop, we scored the first goal and went for more and this is the mentality we have to have in these games.
“We are trying to do our best this season, it’s true we’ve had different performances during the season, good and bad, but we want to maintain and keep our current level in the games.
“Two consecutive wins is important for us to grow, for our confidence and to achieve our goals.
“We want to maintain this level for the next game and try to win.”
