Rodrigo Moreno gave his thoughts to the media after his Leeds United side were defeated away from home, against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Whites gave everything throughout the match and lead on three separate occasions, with the Spaniard netting twice. However, the home side came on strong towards the end to come from behind and secure the points.

Speaking after the match, Rodrigo shared his view of the game.

He said: “It’s a very disappointing moment for us.

“I think when you have the chance to score three times in a stadium like this against a top opponent like Tottenham, it’s hard to finish the game with nothing.

“But, that’s our reality now, it’s not the first time it happens to us and we have to try to learn from this.

“We have a rest now in the break then come back and try to work hard for the come back.

“We played today against a top, top team, with top players, at any moment they can make a difference and that’s what happened today.

“They are very good players and they played well, they scored two goals in less than two minutes, so it’s really disappointing for us but we can’t come back to the game.

“We have to rest, work hard and learn from this then try to be better for the rest of the season.”
