A massive thank you to everyone who entered the Leeds United Foundation’s match worn shirts Remembrance Day raffle. We raised £1208 which will support the Foundation’s Veterans programme.
The draw has now been made and a huge congratulations to Debbie Young and Sam Wharin who have won the shirts. Congratulations!
The Leeds United Foundation uses the power of sport to educate, motivate, inspire and support people throughout the entire Leeds community – a catalyst to improve people’s lives. We have a fantastic group of staff that work tirelessly on our programmes, helping to change and positively impact lives.
Over the past year, 69,984 participants have been involved in our twenty-five different programmes – providing more than 500,000 hours of activity.
Just over half of our activity focuses on sports and participation for all: disabled football, walking football, grassroots youth teams, our elite girls’ academy and the school holiday activities we run across Leeds.
We spend over a quarter of our time in Primary and Secondary schools – supporting with education, attendance, employability and physical activity. Further programmes include a range of health and wellbeing activities and projects for both children and adults in and around the Leeds area.
This is only possible through the generosity and the thoughtful contributions from people like you.
