Rasmus Kristensen named in Hjulmand's Denmark squad

Defender in line to face Northern Ireland and Slovenia

Rasmus Kristensen is the latest Leeds United player to be called upto their national squad, after Denmark head coach Kasper Hjulmand named his latest squad for their upcoming games against Northern Ireland and Slovenia.

The right-back featured 30 times for the Whites over the 2022/23 campaign, scoring three times against Wolves, Arsenal and Newcastle.

Kristensen who has 14 caps to his name, played all three of Denmark's group games during December's 2022 World Cup, before coming on as a late substitute against Kazakhstan in March.

Denmark, second in their group for the EURO qualifying group, host Northern Ireland on Friday 16th June at the Parken Stadium, before travelling to Ljubljana on Monday 19th June to face Slovenia.
