Leeds United's Rasmus Kristensen is heading to the 2022 World Cup this month, after being named in Kasper Hjulmand's Denmark squad.
Kristensen, a summer signing from RB Salzburg, has made 11 appearances for Leeds United, including the recent wins over Liverpool and Bournemouth.
Kristensen is one of six Premier League players to have been named in the squad, with Christian Eriksen (Man United), Mikkel Damsgaard (Brentford), Mathias Jensen (Brentford), Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Tottenham) and Joachim Andersen (Crystal Palace) also called up.
The right-back has 10 caps for Denmark so, playing every game of their 2022 UEFA Nations League group games and helping The Red and Whites to a 2-0 win over a France side, that featured a front three of Mbappe, Giroud and Griezmann.
Denmark won't have long to wait to face the Les Bleus again, as the two national teams make up Group D along with Australia and Tunisia at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
