Leeds United winger Raphinha has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month Award for February.
Since moving to West Yorkshire from Stade Rennais last summer, the Brazilian has been a standout performer for the Whites, making 22 appearances in all competitions.
February saw Raphinha continue to produce a number of dazzling displays for Leeds in the top-flight.
He began the month with a goal against Everton at Elland Road, which was followed up by a man of the match display in the 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
Raphinha provided an assist for Pascal Struijk’s goal away at Arsenal, before finding the net once again in a fine 3-0 victory over Southampton.
Speaking about the nomination, Raphinha told LUTV: It’s really satisfying, it’s a sign that the job is being done well and I’m showing what I’m capable of in games.
“None of this would have been possible without the help of my teammates and the coaches, so being nominated Player of the Month is thanks to them.
“They’re the ones that have helped me develop and evolve day to day.”
