Leeds United travel to the Midlands to face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, with the action getting underway from The Hawthorns at 12:30pm.

The Whites got their Sky Bet Championship campaign off to a dramatic start, as Brenden Aaronson’s late equaliser earned an important point against Portsmouth in last weekend’s curtain raiser.

Pascal Struijk had put Daniel Farke’s side into the lead early on before the visitors fought back to go into the break 2-1 up, with Willy Gnonto then restoring parity shortly after the interval.

A late penalty had looked to gift Pompey all three points, but the American international’s strike in front of the Revie Stand ensured Leeds remained unbeaten to start the new season.

During the week, the Whites bowed out of the Carabao Cup with defeat against Middlesbrough, leaving Farke's side keen to recapture their scintillating pre-season form as they travel to The Hawthorns.

The Baggies, meanwhile, kicked their campaign off with an impressive 3-1 victory away against QPR, thanks to forward Josh Maja's hat-trick in the capital.

Carlos Corberán’s men were unable to follow that win up however on cup duties midweek, falling to defeat against League Two outfit Fleetwood Town.

United’s last visit to The Hawthorns saw the hosts record a narrow 1-0 victory, after the teams had played out a 1-1 draw at Elland Road earlier on last season.

Struijk scores from the spot!
