Leeds United start their Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs campaign with a trip to face Norwich City at Carrow Road, in Sunday’s semi-final first leg.

As the regular season drew to a close last weekend, the Whites’ tally of 90 points saw them finish in third place in the league’s standings, 17 points clear of the sixth-placed Canaries.

United’s most recent visit to Norfolk proved to be a very enjoyable return for Daniel Farke to his former employers, where Leeds fought back from being 2-0 down at the break to run out 3-2 winners.

Dan James kickstarted the stunning comeback when his cross was turned in by the retreating Shane Duffy, before Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season Crysencio Summerville levelled proceedings with a stunning curling effort from the edge of the area.

The Dutch winger’s scintillating form continued and he would grab the winner five minutes from time, racing on to Georginio Rutter’s pass inside his own half, marauding into the area and sweeping home into the far corner.

The return fixture at Elland Road proved to be a much tighter affair, with Patrick Bamford's superbly taken first half header proving to be the difference between the two sides in January.

Those results completed back-to-back doubles over the Canaries for the Whites, when United ran out 2-1 winners in both meetings during the 2021/22 Premier League campaign.

A flurry of goals on the hour mark saw Leeds come away victorious from East Anglia in the first meeting, with Raphinha and Rodrigo getting on the scoresheet.

The pair would prove to be influential once more later on in the season, when Spanish international Rodrigo opened the scoring for the Whites before Raphinha set forward Joe Gelhardt up to score a memorable last-gasp winner in the fight for Premier League survival.

Action from Carrow Road gets underway at 12pm.
