Leeds United face Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend, taking them on away from home on Saturday evening. The match gets underway at 7:45pm.
Both teams are aiming to return to winning ways after disappointing defeats last time out, meaning they each find themselves aiming to move up the table as quickly as possible, starting this weekend.
Jesse Marsch’s side are yet to win away from home this season [which is a record their upcoming opponents also hold] and face a tough test at Anfield on Saturday night. The Reds have been strong as usual on home turf, winning four and drawing two of their opening six games.
The Whites are currently 18th in the Premier League standings - with a game in hand on opponents around them - and with plenty of matches still to play, three points can see immediate movement upwards with plenty of teams on similar points.
Liverpool will be frustrated with their start to the campaign. Just the four wins from 11 matches has them currently placed in 8th spot. However, like with the Whites, they also have played less matches than others close to them and a win on Saturday could see them move up the table.
The strikers leading the scoring charts in the Premier League for both sides are Rodrigo for Leeds, who has five, whilst Roberto Firmino is enjoying a productive season for his side, he has six up to now.
