Leeds United face Swansea City at Elland Road on Wednesday evening, in game number 18 of the season for each side.
A third of the way through the campaign, Daniel Farke’s team have been strong at home up to now and are unbeaten, winning five and drawing three. On the road, Wednesday’s visitors have been in good form, winning three and drawing one of their eight games.
The Whites now return to home turf after drawing away at Rotherham United last time out. An early goal from Crysencio Summerville was cancelled out the hosts just before half-time, resulting in a 1-1 draw come the end of the game.
The Swans also picked up a point at the weekend themselves. After taking a two-goal lead, Michael Duff’s side were pegged back at home to Hull City and eventually drew the game 2-2.
Our South Wales opponents are currently 18th in the table, having had a tough start to the season. After no wins in their first seven games, they then won five and drew twice from the next 10.
Having arrived from Blackpool in the summer, Jerry Yates has began life at his new club in fine goalscoring form. The 27-year-old tops the charts for the Swans, have netted five times, meaning he will need to be watched closely.
Kick-off in West Yorkshire under the lights of Elland Road is at 7:45pm. Full supporter information can be found further down the page.
