Leeds United face Middlesbrough at Elland Road, in game number 19 of the Sky Bet Championship season for each side.

Both teams come into Saturday’s match on the back of important midweek victories on home turf, scoring goals and adding more confidence ahead of facing one another.

The Whites battled from behind on Wednesday against Swansea. After going a goal down in the first minute, Joel Piroe quickly equalised against his former club, Georginio Rutter then scored his first Elland Road goal, before Dan James wrapped up the win in the second half.

Michael Carrick’s side were ruthless against Preston North End, at the Riverside. Isaiah Jones got a first half double either side of a Rav van den Berg effort to race into a three-goal lead at the break. In second half stoppage time, Alex Bangura added a fourth to seal the three points.

That win moved the Reds up to 10th in the league table and just three points away from a play-off position. A return of 27 points up to now is impressive, after failing to win in their opening seven matches of the new campaign.

Each side has a joint top-scorer coming into the match, following the midweek fixtures. Crysencio Summerville and Piroe both have seven for Leeds, whereas Riley McGree and Jones have netted five apiece for Boro in all competitions.

Kick-off in West Yorkshire is at 3pm and further supporter information can be found further down the page.
