Leeds United face high-flying Fulham on Sunday afternoon, in their latest Premier League match of the 2022/23 campaign.
The Whites take on the West London outfit aiming to return to winning ways on home turf, after losing their unbeaten record on their own patch last time out against Arsenal.
Fulham will arrive in West Yorkshire aiming to continue their fine start to the season. Having been promoted last season, the Cottagers have taken to life well in the top-flight and are in 9th place with 15 points from 11 matches.
The two teams have met recently in the Premier League, going back to the 2020/21 campaign. The Whites did the double that year, winning a 4-3 thriller at home before following that up with a 2-1 success away from home.
Away from home, Fulham have only won once this season, which was a 3-2 victory away at Nottingham Forest in September. The main threat for Sunday’s visitors is well known and comes in form of Serbian international, Aleksandar Mitrovic, who has eight goals up to now.
For Leeds, Rodrigo is still the top-scorer after his fine form at the start of the campaign with four, whilst Luis Sinisterra is just behind on one.
Wins will see movement for each of these sides if they are able to take the three points this weekend. Marsch’s squad can move up to 14th with a game in hand on others around them, whilst Fulham could go as high as 7th at this early stage of the campaign.
