Leeds United Women make their first of three consecutive away trips this Sunday, as they travel to Chorley Women in the FA Women’s National League Division One North.

The Whites are looking to continue their strong start to the season after winning five of their opening six games in all competitions, including an unbeaten start on the road.

For supporters wishing to attend, admission prices are £5 for adults, £2 for U16s. The ground is open from 12:30pm and the clubhouse will be open throughout the afternoon serving refreshments. Parking is also available at the ground.

Last time out

The Whites returned to winning ways in dramatic fashion last Sunday, as Jess Rousseau struck a late winner against Durham Cestria.

Chorley picked up a point on the road in their last outing, drawing 0-0 at Norton & Stockton, meaning they’ve taken seven points from their last three league games after an opening day thrashing at Barnsley.

Previous meetings

Leeds thrashed Chorley 5-0 in an early season meeting last campaign, thanks to an Amy Woodruff brace and goals from Kathryn Smith, Macy Ellis and Abbie Brown.

In the reverse fixture, Leeds suffered a frustrating defeat a week after their FAWNL Plate success, losing 3-1 to Chorley who were in the thick of a relegation battle.

The Magpies came from 1-0 down on the day after Woodruff had netted the opener, but battled back to lead 3-1 before the break thanks to goals from Kerry Nickson, Jess Gillin and Grace Foy.
