Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United travel to Ewood Park on Wednesday evening, to face Blackburn Rovers (7:30pm).
The Whites are stepping up their preparations for the new Premier League season as they contest their second friendly in as many days.
The Whites began the busy week of action on Tuesday evening, with a youthful looking XI defeating local side Guiseley AFC. Goals from Crysencio Summerville, Sam Greenwood and Charlie Allen were enough at Nethermoor Park.
Blackburn have had three pre-season clashes so far, the first of which Tony Mowbray’s side won 1-0 in an away fixture with AFC Fylde. Rovers then travelled to Finch Farm to face a strong Everton side and narrowly fell to a 1-0 defeat against Rafa Benitez’s new-look Blues.
The Championship side then suffered defeat at the hands of Bradford City as they were comfortably beaten 2-0 in West Yorkshire.
Having previously scored against the Whites when the two teams met at the end of the 19/20 season, Adam Armstrong will be a player to keep an eye on. The striker was in fine form last season and scored 28 goals, as Blackburn finished 15th.
