Leeds United face Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Saturday lunchtime, travelling to Lancashire for a 12:30 kick-off, which will be streamed live on LUTV, both in the UK and worldwide.
This will be the 20th match of the season for each side, with both hoping to continue their push towards the top end of the table as we head into a busy Christmas period.
Last time out, the Whites had to battle back from behind and did so, to win a five goal thriller at home to Middlesbrough, making it five wins from their last six games.
After going behind early, goals from the ever-lively trio of Dan James, Crysencio Summerville and Joel Piroe were enough to claim a huge three points for Daniel Farke’s side at Elland Road.
Rovers are having a strong season of their own and currently sit just two points outside of a play-off position, with nine wins, one draw and nine losses from their opening 19 games.
Saturday’s hosts can boast the top scorer in the league, who has had a sensational season up to now. After netting 14 times, 28-year-old Sammie Szmodics has caused chaos across the division and will need to be watched closely.
Leeds do have goalscorer’s of their own, however. Both Piroe and Summerville tucked home their eighth goal of the season in our last match, putting them joint top in the club scoring charts.
The Whites are set to be backed by nearly seven-and-a-half thousand fans on Saturday. For those not in attendance, you can follow all the action right here on leedsunited.com.
