Leeds United face Arsenal away from home on Saturday afternoon (3pm), returning to Premier League action following the recent international break.
Both teams went into the recent breaks with impressive victories, where each side showed a clinical touch in front of goal to score four goals in their respective wins.
Arsenal were at home to Crystal Palace and stretched their lead at the top of the division to an impressive eight points, following goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Granit Xhaka and a Bukayo Saka double.
Leeds earned a hard-fought and much needed three points away from home against Wolves, which was just the second away win of the campaign. Jack Harrison, Luke Ayling, Rasmus Kristensen and the returning Rodrigo got the goals in a 4-2 success at Molineux.
When the two sides met at Elland Road in the season, Leeds put in an impressive display on home turf but were unfortunate to come away from the match with no points.
Since that encounter, the Gunners have gone from strength to strength in the league and with 10 matches to go for Mikel Arteta’s side, they are aiming for the Premier League title.
From their 28 games played up to now, Saturday’s hosts have scored 66 times, on a run that has seen them win their last six straight matches.
Since Javi Gracia’s appointment as head coach of the Whites, he has had four league games in charge. That has seen a strong return of seven points from those games: two wins, one loss and one draw.
In a match where both teams really want and need the points for different reasons, a maximum return of three for Leeds could see them go as high as 12th. For the hosts the maths is simple, they need to keep winning to retain their place at the summit.

What has Javi Gracia said, ahead of the match?
“We are playing against the team at the top of the table and we have to be ready for that. They do many things well, it’s a team you can see in the stats, against Bournemouth for example they had 80% possession and in other games around 70."
